ANSVSA carried out checks in 276 establishments, verifying compliance with operating conditions and food safety rules.

Checks targeted both shops and fruit and vegetable stores to ensure compliance with hygiene requirements and legal regulations on trade in products from the EU and third countries. A total of 33 fines, amounting to 281,200 lei, were imposed as a result of the irregularities found.
