The ANM warnings for Saturday include a Code Red heatwave in Banat, Oltenia, most of Muntenia and southern Dobrogea, with maximum temperatures of 39-43 degrees Celsius and severe heat discomfort. Suceava and Botoșani counties are not affected. Also, a Code Orange will be in Crișana, Transylvania, northeastern and eastern Muntenia, southern Moldavia and northern Dobrogea, with temperatures between 35 and 39 degrees. Authorities recommend avoiding exposure to the sun, wearing light clothing, drinking fluids and eating fresh fruit to cope with the extreme heat.
