Romania has signed an agreement to host the European Cyber Security Competence Center, already operating in Bucharest.

The agreement was signed by the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Alexandru-Mihai Ghigiu, and the Center's Executive Director. Hosting the center in Bucharest is an important achievement for Romania, confirming the country's growing role in strengthening European cyber security. The Center aims to increase Europe's capacity and competitiveness in cybersecurity.
