A Tarom airplane was left stranded at a provincial airport after a severe storm in July.

The aircraft was grounded for repairs, with the technical team intervening without success. The grounding of the aircraft involved additional costs, with TAROM seeking to recover tens of thousands of lei from the insurer. The windstorm in July also affected other areas of Oradea, being under a Code Orange for windstorm and hail.
