The Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova has confirmed that Vladimir Plahotniuc will be extradited on September 25, three days before the elections. The extradition requests have been accepted by the Ministry of Justice of Greece, and the documents are being processed. Plahotniuc, detained on July 22 in Athens, is accused of fraud and leading a criminal organization. Upon his arrival, he will be placed in Penitentiary No. 13 in Chișinău, where the conditions of detention will be assessed.
