Matt Turnbull, an executive at Xbox Game Studios, has sparked controversy after suggesting the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help laid-off employees. His advice came in the wake of widespread layoffs at Microsoft, which have particularly affected the gaming division. In a later-deleted LinkedIn post, Turnbull shared the idea of using AI tools such as ChatGPT to ease the emotional and mental impact of job loss.
