A central aspect is the amount of data that these browsers can access and transmit. AI browsers can capture sensitive information from open tabs, including internal tools and authentication data, which can be sent to an external AI backend without users being aware. Additionally, these browsers have a greater capacity to collect and process sensitive information due to the way they understand user activity.
