The company behind the Claude chatbot revealed how a hacker used the chatbot to identify, attack, and blackmail at least 17 companies.

In a report published on Tuesday, the company Anthropic, which is behind the popular chatbot Claude, revealed how a hacker, using the chatbot, conducted the most comprehensive and profitable cyber operation known to date. In one of the first publicly documented cases, the hacker used the chatbot from Anthropic to automate nearly the entire range of cybercrimes.
