Researchers in Argentina have discovered in Patagonia the nearly complete skeleton of the dinosaur Alnashetri cerropoliciensis, an animal the size of a crow, weighing approximately 0.7 kilograms. The fossil, found at the La Buitrera site, offers a new perspective on the biodiversity of the Cretaceous period, showing that the region was populated not only by giant dinosaurs, such as Giganotosaurus or Argentinosaurus, but also by small species that hunted animals like frogs and snakes. The well-preserved bone structure and the bird-like features make this discovery a remarkable example of the complexity of Cretaceous ecosystems.
