SpaceX has conducted a new test for the experimental Starfall system, intended for the rapid transport of goods globally, using reusable rockets. The launch took place on Tuesday from the Cape Canaveral base in Florida, with a Falcon 9 rocket.

Although the mission details have not been made public, documents filed with U.S. authorities suggest that Starfall is designed for the rapid delivery of critical cargo. The capsule, weighing approximately two tons, can carry up to a ton of materials and is equipped to re-enter the atmosphere and land with the help of parachutes. The project has both military and commercial potential, being monitored by the U.S. Department of Defense as well. SpaceX is rapidly diversifying its activities, already operating the Starlink service and developing orbital data centers. However, the economic viability of Starfall remains uncertain, and the costs and existence of a market for these transports are unanswered questions. If it becomes operational, Starfall could open new opportunities in the space economy, strengthening SpaceX's position in the market.
