SpaceX, Elon Musk's company, has invested $2 billion in artificial intelligence startup xAI, which is developing the chatbot Grok. The investment is part of a $5 billion capital raise and reflects Musk's commitment to support xAI in its competition with OpenAI. Grok, which Musk says is "the world's most intelligent artificial intelligence," has recently had notable performances, but has also faced controversy. The investment could bring risks for SpaceX, which is in development of the Starship rocket, but Musk continues to integrate xAI into its various businesses.
