Samsung has announced a new privacy feature for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series smartphones, which will prevent the visibility of screen content from people nearby. This technology, implemented at the pixel level, will limit the screen's viewing angle, ensuring that the displayed information remains clear for the owner, but not for those nearby.
Users will have control over this feature, being able to decide how strict the visibility angle limitation should be, applying it only for sensitive applications, such as home banking or for entering passwords. The announcement comes ahead of the official presentation of the Galaxy S26 series, scheduled for February 25, although official confirmation is lacking. This statement is an exception, considering that Samsung usually does not announce unreleased products.
