Samsung has announced plans to integrate new Nvidia GPUs into a 'megafactory AI', aimed at improving automation and simulations in the manufacturing process. Although details about the construction date have not been provided, the partnership highlights the importance of Nvidia, which recently became the first company with a market capitalization of $5 trillion.
Samsung will use Nvidia's Omniverse simulation software and will adapt its lithography platform to achieve 20 times greater performance in chip production. The collaboration will also include adjustments to the fourth-generation HBM supercomputer memory for AI chips, producing components for both Samsung mobile devices and the partnership with Nvidia.
