Sora 2, a video generation application, was launched last week in an invitation-only mode. The application allows users to generate short videos based on a text prompt. Before the launch of Sora 2, OpenAI informed talent agencies and studios that if they do not want their copyrighted material to be replicated by the video generator, they should choose not to participate. OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, stated that the company has been 'recording feedback' from users, rights holders, and other groups, and will make changes as a result.
