Users can choose options such as "More", "Less" or "Default" for each setting. These controls complement existing customization features, which include selecting a base style, such as "Professional", "Casual" or "Eccentric". Tone has been a recurring issue for OpenAI, which previously reversed an update that made ChatGPT too agreeable. Recently, the company adjusted the models to be warmer and more accessible, following user complaints.
