The first batch will be implemented in 2026, and OpenAI has the option to purchase up to 160 million AMD shares, representing 10% of the company. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, stated that the partnership will accelerate the development of advanced AI. This comes after another major partnership with Nvidia, worth 100 billion dollars.
