Four astronauts launched Wednesday for a ten-day mission around the Moon, a crucial test aimed at returning to the lunar surface in 2028, more than half a century after the Apollo missions. The Orion spacecraft received the green light for takeoff at 2:49 AM Romania time, after NASA completed the necessary deliberations.

Flight director Jeff Radigan announced the success of the operation from the control center in Houston, expressing his enthusiasm for the continuation of the mission and preparation for propulsion. The crew's positive reaction underscored the importance of this historic moment for space exploration. This mission represents an important step in NASA's plans to return to the Moon and explore new frontiers in space research.
