Large technology companies are facing an exodus of elite researchers, who are launching their own startups in the field of artificial intelligence, quickly attracting significant investments.

Investors are betting on these new companies, founded by former employees of prestigious laboratories, who manage to raise impressive sums, such as 1.1 billion dollars for Ineffable Intelligence, founded by David Silver. The phenomenon is fueled by fierce competition for dominance in the AI market, which leaves certain research directions unexplored, providing opportunities for more agile startups. By 2026, venture capital funds had already invested 18.8 billion dollars in AI startups, a sum that could surpass the previous year's record. New startups, such as Ricursive Intelligence, are developing innovative technologies, targeting the gaps left by large companies.

This dynamic intensifies competition in the artificial intelligence sector, shifting the balance of power between tech giants and new players.
