Emails sent to the original address will continue to arrive in the inbox, and all data, including emails and photos, will remain intact.

Currently, the information is only available in the Hindi version of the support page, suggesting an initial launch in India. Limitations include the inability to create a new Gmail address for 12 months after the change. Google has not provided official details about the implementation timeline or priority regions.
