In a recent discussion with investor Nikhil Kamath, Elon Musk predicted a radical transformation of society in the next two decades, in which artificial intelligence and robotics will take over most traditional tasks. Musk suggests that, in this future, human work could become optional, as machines will be able to fulfill almost all the needs of society.

He also mentioned that his children, who are familiar with technology, quickly realize that their skills could be surpassed by advancements in artificial intelligence. Musk thus emphasizes the profound impact that technology will have on education and work in the future.
