China will launch in 2026 the Mengzhou-1 spacecraft, a new generation vehicle designed for transporting astronauts and testing flight systems. It will perform its first flight with the Long March-10A rocket and will dock at the Tiangong space station. Mengzhou-1 will verify the performance of the vehicle systems, delivering instruments and supplies for environmental assessment and scientific experiments. Also in 2026, China will launch the Shenzhou-22 and Shenzhou-23 missions, each with three astronauts, who will conduct extravehicular activities and long-term experiments. Additionally, in 2026, the Tianzhou-10 cargo vehicle will be launched, intended for delivering supplies and maintenance for the Tiangong station.
