Anthropic, an Amazon-backed artificial intelligence startup, has announced that it will make its Claude AI model available to the US government for the symbolic sum of $1. The decision comes after Claude, along with other AI models such as ChatGPT and Gemini, were approved by US authorities. CEO Dario Amodei emphasized the importance of government institutions having access to the most advanced AI tools. OpenAI recently launched a similar offering for federal agencies.
