The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said at the B9 Summit in Bucharest that Russia should not have the opportunity to issue ultimatums or destabilize neighbors without facing consequences, while NATO must demonstrate that it is strong and will not disband.

Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about Russia's demands before the 2022 invasion, describing them as "foolish and unacceptable."

"Our task is to ensure that Russia will never again be able to issue such ultimatums, to dominate or destabilize neighbors, or to start wars without suffering consequences. These are the common elements of our security today: to ensure that Russia is prevented from waging war against any neighbor," Zelensky said.

At the B9 Summit, Zelensky thanked the participants for their support for Ukraine during the war, highlighting the importance of collaboration in defense and security. He also emphasized the need for a European support package of 90 billion euros. In the perspective of the NATO Summit in Ankara, Zelensky stressed that it is essential for allies to demonstrate NATO's strength and to discuss economic challenges, ensuring that the organization remains united and effective in the face of external threats.

"It must be proven that NATO is strong and will not disband," Zelensky emphasized.
