Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine will not accept Russia's territorial claims, especially regarding the Donbas region, largely controlled by the Kremlin. Zelensky emphasized that a security guarantees agreement with the U.S., inspired by Article 5 of the NATO Treaty, must be signed before any peace agreement. He mentioned that, although he is open to proposals for creating a free trade zone, Ukrainian territory must remain intact. Zelensky also called for the U.S. to pressure Russia to accept a 20-point plan for ending the conflict. Additionally, he proposed a meeting with Putin in Kyiv, in response to his invitation to meet in Moscow, considering that such a meeting is not possible in the Russian capital.
