In an interview granted to POLITICO at the Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Vladimir Putin is facing difficulties, including due to his age. Zelensky, who is 48 years old, emphasized that Putin, who turned 73 on October 7, 2023, does not have much time left.

Speculations regarding the health of the Russian leader, including possible serious conditions such as cancer or Parkinson's, have been a topic of discussion in the media, but verified information is lacking. Zelensky highlighted the contrast between himself and Putin, mentioning that he is a free man who is not afraid to communicate with the press, while Putin refuses to give interviews. With a note of irony, Zelensky concluded that it is important to recognize that Putin does not have much time left.
