The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that he is ready to meet with Vladimir Putin to discuss peace, after a meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Zelensky emphasized that the format of the meeting is not a problem, but warned that Russia must be consistent in its statements and actions, considering the ongoing attacks against Ukraine. He noted the contradiction between Putin's desire to end the war and his aggressive actions.

Zelensky also stated that the deployment of international troops in Ukraine could provide the necessary security guarantee to deter Russia from further attacks, considering it a strengthening of security guarantees from international partners.
