The discussion focused on Ukraine's air defense needs, particularly the procurement of missiles for the Patriot systems, which are considered essential in combating Russian threats. Zelensky emphasized that Russia is playing its last card in this conflict, and Ukraine urgently needs military support.

Although Ukraine's air defense has demonstrated a good destruction rate against drones and cruise missiles, ballistic missiles remain a challenge. Germany has offered assistance in providing Patriot units and missiles for them. During the conversation, Zelensky dismissed Putin's claims regarding the capture of the city of Kostiantynivka, accusing him of disinformation.
