Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an interview with ZDF that American negotiators do not have time for Ukraine due to their commitments in discussions with Iran, in the context of the war in the Middle East. He described American emissaries Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as "pragmatic," mentioning that they are trying to gain more attention from Putin to end the conflict in Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized that without real pressure on Russia, soft dialogue will have no effect. He also highlighted that the outbreak of the war in the Middle East has delayed negotiations for Ukraine, and the delivery of American weapons is becoming a critical issue, especially for air defense. On the same day, Zelensky met with the Chancellor of Germany, where they signed a cooperation agreement in defense, which will strengthen bilateral relations. Germany has committed to providing additional support in essential areas, including air defense and long-range weapons.
