Warren Buffett has made his largest annual gift ever, giving $6 billion in Berkshire Hathaway stock, most of it to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The gift brings his total contributions to more than $60 billion since 2006. Buffett, 94, has also distributed shares to other family foundations, still retaining 13.8% of Berkshire shares. He has announced that he will not sell shares and that 99.5% of his remaining fortune will go to a charitable trust after his death.
