The Serbian Security Agency warned President Aleksandar Vucic not to attend the meeting in Montenegro due to threats to his security.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, received a warning from the Security and Information Agency of Serbia (BIA) regarding the security risks associated with his trip to Montenegro, where a meeting with European Union leaders and Balkan countries is scheduled.

BIA mentioned that hostile activities of foreign intelligence services and the presence of a criminal clan in the area pose threats. Despite this warning, the President of Parliament, Ana Brnabic, stated that Vucic intends to participate in important meetings in Tivat.

The warning was issued after Montenegro returned a plane with 87 men from Serbia, considering them a threat to security. Relations between Serbia and Montenegro are tense, especially due to Podgorica's position regarding Kosovo. Montenegro, a NATO member, has imposed sanctions against Russia, while Serbia remains aligned with Moscow.
