Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, expressed his delight at the announcement by American President Donald Trump regarding the planned meeting with Vladimir Putin in Budapest, calling it "great news for peace lovers." Orban conveyed this message on platform X, emphasizing Hungary's readiness for this event. The meeting was discussed following a phone call of over two hours between Trump and Putin, in which they agreed to organize a meeting between the senior advisors of the two countries. Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's special envoy, described the discussion as "positive and productive." This meeting aims to explore possibilities to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, Trump will meet with the Ukrainian president to discuss military support for Ukraine.
