The Venezuelan Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of ships and drones in the Gulf of Venezuela in response to the sending of destroyers by the USA to the area. Caracas has mobilized 15,000 members of the security forces at the border with Colombia, denouncing the American actions as hostile. Additionally, President Maduro has activated a special plan with 4.5 million soldiers to counter external threats.
