US administration officials are looking into the possibility of banning the Chinese chatbot DeepSeek from government devices.They are also looking at restricting US cloud service providers' access to DeepSeek's artificial intelligence models for their customers. The Chinese startup sparked concern in global stock markets in January, with investors fearing it could threaten US companies in the field.
