The president's envoy Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, has arrived in Switzerland, in the context in which the USA and Iran are proposing to resume technical discussions. Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, has also arrived for negotiations. Although the next round of discussions was scheduled for Friday, it was canceled due to the escalation of violence between Israel and Hezbollah. After the announcement of a ceasefire, the opportunity arose to resume the diplomatic process, but a new date for the meeting has not been set. Witkoff and Kushner previously led negotiations with Iran to reach an initial agreement. Vice President JD Vance is also prepared to participate in the discussions. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that a stable ceasefire in Lebanon is essential for the continuation of negotiations. Qatar remains a key mediator, and the country's prime minister has already arrived in Switzerland for consultations.
