US President Donald Trump has announced a trade deal with the European Union after meeting European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland. Trump described the deal as win-win, promising financial benefits and a strengthening of relations between the parties. Von der Leyen emphasized that the agreement corrects a trade imbalance and ensures continuity of trade, with negotiating teams having been successful in achieving a desired balance.
