The US-Ukraine relationship is improving and the delivery of two PATRIOT air defense systems underlines Washington's support in the context of the war with Russia. The first system will be transferred from Israel and the second could come from Germany or Greece. Although Ukraine already has eight operational PATRIOT systems, recent Russian attacks highlight the need to expand defense capabilities. President Zelenski has expressed a desire to acquire new systems, given the high costs and challenges.
