The disappearance of 65,000 coffee cups from the Tesla plant in Grünheide was brought to the attention of plant manager André Thierig at a staff meeting. He derided the situation, noting that "each of you has five cups of coffee at home". The disappearance of coffee cups is not the only problem of its kind, as the plant is also facing the disappearance of cutlery from the canteen.
