Italian banking group UniCredit upgraded its profit estimates for 2024 and also announced that from 2025 it will start paying out half of its net profit in cash to investors, after reporting a better-than-expected net profit in the third quarter. UniCredit said it posted a net profit of EUR2.51 billion in the July-September 2024 period, above analysts' estimates that had been betting on a net profit of EUR2.27 billion.
