UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has vowed to act immediately on any new information from Israel about 'Hamas infiltration' into the world body. The statement comes after nine UN staff members in the Gaza Strip were dismissed last month after Israel accused them of participating in an attack by Hamas militants.
