The Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Agency (NABU) announced on Saturday that it has uncovered an organized criminal group, made up of deputies who accepted bribes in exchange for votes in parliament. NABU reported that they systematically received illegal benefits to vote in the Rada, the Ukrainian legislature. During the investigation, investigators attempted to search the offices of parliamentary committees in Kiev, but were stopped by security forces. This corruption scandal was revealed immediately after the departure of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, where he will meet with Donald Trump to discuss the peace plan with Russia.
