Ukraine has decided to withdraw from the Ottawa Convention banning the use of anti-personnel mines in response to the Russian invasion. The mayor of Lvov, Andrii Sadovyi, said the decision was necessary to protect Ukrainian soldiers and cities. Colonel Roman Kostenko confirmed the signing of the decree by President Zelenski, underlining that Ukraine joins other European countries that have pulled out of the international agreement.
