The Ukrainian Farmers' Union, UAC, announced that the country has lost approximately one third of its grain export capacity through the vital ports on the Black Sea, due to the intensification of missile and drone attacks from Russia.

Agricultural exports, especially grains and vegetable oils, are the main source of foreign currency income for Ukraine, with most shipments being made through the ports in Odesa. Although an agreement allows for the transport of grains, Russian attacks have led to a reduction in deliveries to about four million tons per month, compared to six million. UAC warns that without repairs, the port infrastructure will be severely affected in a few months, and traders are facing logistical difficulties.
