Ukrainian drones struck a Russian frigate during an attack on the port of Novorossiysk

The Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert 'Magyar' Brovdi, announced that Ukrainian drones struck the Russian frigate 'Admiral Grigorovich', a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, during an attack on the port city of Novorossiysk, on the night from Sunday to Monday. This is the first frigate from the Russian Navy's 'Burevestnik' project, equipped with eight Kalibr missiles and a 'Shtil-1' air defense system.

The operation was carried out by the Ptakhy (Birds) unit of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, coordinated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU). Brovdi mentioned that they are gathering information regarding the extent of the damage caused.

Additionally, the Unmanned Systems Forces, together with the deep strike forces of the Ukrainian Navy, also attacked the Russian drilling platform Sivash, posting images of the attacks. Residents of Novorossiysk reported explosions and a drone attack on an oil terminal on the night from Sunday to Monday.
