The Keir Starmer-led government will publish a multi-billion pound industrial strategy to support priority sectors and create jobs.

The industrial strategy, part of the 'Plan for Change' program, aims to reform training and support innovation. The UK government has already earmarked £1.5bn for skills development and announced a £275m investment in engineering and defense training. Investment is also planned in the creative industries and sport, but energy cost challenges remain a major concern for economic competitiveness.
