The UK and Germany have signed an agreement to strengthen military cooperation in the face of growing threats from Russia.

The agreement, called Trinity House, provides for increased joint training of the two armies and cooperation in arms production. It also stresses the responsibility of European countries to ensure their own security in the face of Russian aggression.
