The aircraft carrier MUGEM, with a length of 285 meters and a capacity of over 60,000 tons, will be the first built in Turkey and will surpass the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. Designed to host drones and fighter jets, MUGEM will ensure Turkey's maritime independence, with over 80% of components produced locally. Erdogan emphasizes that this project is part of the strategy to assert Turkish influence in the eastern Mediterranean.
