TSMC reported that an internal investigation has led to the detention of six people, including current and former employees, on suspicion of illegally obtaining sensitive information. Three of them are accused of violating national security laws. The company has taken legal action and disciplinary action against those involved, emphasizing the importance of its monitoring mechanisms. Investigations are continuing to determine the extent of the leak, particularly related to advanced 2-nanometer technology.
