US President Donald Trump may not deliver a speech to the British Parliament during his September visit, as there is no formal request to do so. Labor MP Kate Osborne has called for the possibility of Trump speaking to be blocked, citing his controversial rhetoric. If the visit coincides with the parliamentary recess, the absence of the speech will not be considered a diplomatic affront. Preparations for the visit continue, and the British government may quickly request a speech, but in the absence of such a request, Trump's speech remains uncertain.
