The President of the United States, Donald Trump, issued an ultimatum to Iran, warning that if the Strait of Hormuz is not fully opened within 48 hours, the United States will strike Iranian power plants. Foreign policy analyst Iulian Chifu stated that Iran will not yield to American pressures and will respond by destroying the surrounding infrastructure. Iranian armed forces have threatened that, in the event of attacks on fuel facilities and power plants, they will retaliate by attacking American energy infrastructure in the region. Chifu emphasized that Iran's conditions for negotiations are unacceptable, and the conflict could last longer than initially anticipated. At the same time, Iran has launched rockets at cities in southern Israel, injuring over 100 people, in response to Israeli strikes on the nuclear complex at Natanz.
