American President Donald Trump suggested a 'course correction' in anti-immigration policy, following tragic incidents in which two American citizens died in Minneapolis.
In an interview with NBC News, Trump mentioned that, following discussions with local officials, a different tone may be necessary in addressing this issue, acknowledging that the situation is tense. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a firm attitude, stating that 'we are dealing with really tough criminals.'
Trump also confirmed that the decision to withdraw 700 ICE agents was made by him, through his emissary, Tom Homan, as part of this policy reassessment.
